My name is Jordan Haas

I began my career in the rural telecom space for a small provider headquartered in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. I was immediately thrust into an industry where I had little technical background, nor a footing in the industry at large; just a punch list from my employer with the goal of growing, not dying. . . Dying wasn’t an option for me either, so I grew.

As I settled into my role, I quickly began to demonstrate an adept capacity to navigate the USAC environment, and was soon tasked with developing all of my employer’s business related to USAC.

Working with such a small provider, I was a one-man team, with only occasional guidance by the CEO. I built every proposal and qualified every prospect from the ground up.

  • I constructed pricing and financial models.

  • Conducted cost analysis.

  • Created Customized proposals for prospects in both Rural Healthcare and E-Rate programs.

  • Managed Stewardship of clients when awarded contracts.

  • Managed Invoicing.

  • Performed all regulatory reporting and maintenance of records.

In larger Companies, this statement of work is farmed out to numerous employees across an organization, which comes with a cost most smaller start-up providers are unable to shoulder. 

The viable talent pool for small providers then becomes very limited when considering the specialization required for each step in the bidding process.  This is where I am uniquely positioned to assist.  Front of Center exists to support small providers with the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully participate in USAC supported markets. My mission is to help your company overcome barriers to entry, define your strategy and assist in your business development.

-Growth is a strategic defense in a competitive landscape. This is especially true for Telecom. Finding a lane where you can be competitive and successful in bidding USAC programs is a crucial way for small providers to initiate and sustain growth.
